Starting Your First Lesson

Quick Note: This unit will guide you through the process of beginning your first training lesson.

1. Accessing lessons

a. List and grid view:

To switch between list and grid views in lessons, use the icons located in the upper right corner of the lesson list. Click the "List View" icon to see lessons in a list format, or click the "Grid View" icon to view them in a grid format.

b. AI features:

To use the AI feature, type your response in the text box provided. Then, click the "Review" button to have your answer analyzed by AI. AI will generate the feedback, suggesting improvements or rephrasing to improve your response.

2. How to use a lesson

a. Scenarios:

To use the lesson scenario, carefully read the problem description and the student's approach to solving it. Then, answer the provided questions to assess the student's understanding and reasoning. Use the text boxes below each question to type your responses and reflect on the student's grasp of the material.

b. AI:

To utilize the AI feature in this scenario, type your response in the provided text box after reading the prompt (in this case about Erin's approach to squaring numbers). The AI will analyze your answer and provide feedback or a research recommendation to guide you on how to ensure the student has a solid conceptual understanding. Review the AI's recommendation and use the "Previous" or "Next" buttons to navigate through the lesson.

c. Feedback:

Read the conclusion for the recommended approach. The feedback explains its effectiveness in assessing understanding. Access additional resources below for more information and share comments in the designated area.

d. Survey: Review the feedback by reading the conclusion, which outlines the recommended approach for assessing the student's understanding. Access additional resources at the bottom for more information, and share comments on the module in the designated area.
